CharisForge Technologies LTD is a software engineering company based in Nigeria. This policy covers the website at charisforge.com (“the website”). Wherever this policy says “we,” “us,” or “CharisForge,” it means CharisForge Technologies LTD.

Information you provide directly
When you submit our project inquiry form on the Start a Project page, we collect: your name, work email address, company (optional), project type, a description of what you’re looking to build, approximate budget (optional), expected timeline (optional), how you heard about us (optional), and your confirmation that we can contact you about your inquiry. We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t collect any payment information through this website.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting and security infrastructure automatically logs some technical information for every visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, the page that referred you here, and the time of the request. This is standard web server behavior.
We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, how people use the site: which pages get visited, which services or case studies attract attention, roughly where visitors are located, what device or browser they’re using, how they arrived at the site, and simple interaction events like clicking a “Start a Project” button or beginning to fill out our contact form. We do not intentionally send Google Analytics anything you type into our contact form. Your name, email address, company name, and project message stay inside our own contact-form processing and are never passed to Google Analytics as event data.

We use the information above to:

- operate, secure and maintain the website
- prevent spam and abuse of our contact form

5. Contact form and email processing
When you submit the project inquiry form, your message is sent using Resend, a transactional email service, to CharisForge’s internal business inbox. We don’t share your submission with anyone outside CharisForge except as described in this policy.
6. Hosting and infrastructure
Running the website involves a small number of trusted third-party providers, covering categories like hosting infrastructure, transactional email delivery, and general web security. We choose providers appropriate for a small business website and don’t share information with them beyond what’s needed to keep the site running.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only with:
- service providers who help us run the website or process inquiries (for example, our email delivery provider)
- legal or regulatory authorities where we’re required to
- professional advisers where necessary (for example, a lawyer or accountant)

We keep contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, follow up on a potential engagement, and keep basic business records. We haven’t set a fixed retention period; if you’d like your information deleted sooner, contact us and we’ll act on your request.

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information we hold. That said, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Some of the infrastructure and service providers we use to run this website and deliver email may operate outside Nigeria. Where that’s the case, your information may be processed in another country by that provider.
